Its been a Long, Long time...

It seems like forever since I last wrote in here. I've tried to steer clear of blogging, but I just can't stay away, seemingly. I need somewhere to write my thoughts down.

A lot of things have changed in the past six months. I'm still with Fay - she's a wonderful girl I met some time ago (can't remember if I wrote about it in here or not), but I don't get to see her nearly as often as I'd like. Right now, we seem to be going through a bit of a strained patch - she's applying for new jobs, and I'm caught up with the pressures of work as well. Not a happy time, but I hope things will be back to normal soon.

I'm still working at the BBC, though my contract runs out very soon - and I'm desperately seeking a new show to work on. I've applied all over the corporation, so hopefully something will come up in the next month. Still, the uncertainty is taking its toll on me. I know it's the nature of the industry - but it's still difficult to live with sometimes.

My writing has come on a little, though I don't get nearly as much time as I'd like to spend on it. I seem to be very good at starting scripts, but not finishing them. I have a few things on the go at the moment, and Fay always seems to have unlimited patience with me bollocksing on about my latest ideas. I think I might be falling for her in a big way, but after what happened with Lindsay all that time ago, I'm still really reluctant to open up completely to anyone.

Anyway, I'll try and keep this thing a bit more updated. I don't expect a flurry of visitors - or anyone, really - but I like this little bit of virtual headspace.
